PICTURE PARADE README FILE

	Picture Parade is a screensaver you create by choosing a series of pictures (BMP) to display in sequence.  Picture Parade operates like one of the screensavers that were included with windows 3.1  The uses for Picture Parade are endless.  Use it to show pictures of your kids.  Use it to show your company's logo.
	Picture Parade is shareware.  If you use this program you must register.  You will be given an opportunity to register when you run Picture Parade.
	
SETTING UP PICTURE PARADE

1. Put the file VBRUN300.DLL ( not included ) in your \windows\system directory.
2. Put the files THREED.VBX, VBINI.VBX, and RRTMOUSE.VBX in your \windows\system directory.
3. Put the files PARADE.SCR and PARADE.HLP  in your \windows directory.

STARTING PICTURE PARADE

1. Double click on the control panel icon in the main group.
2. Double click on the desktop icon in the control panel
3. Select picture parade from the list of screen savers	
4. Click the setup button
5. You should now see the Picture Parade setup screen
6. Click add to add a frame
7. You will be shown a dialog box in which you will be asked to select the BMP picture for your first frame.
8. Select a BMP file 
9. To preview the picture you selected click the preview button.
10. Click the OK button to accept your selection
11. Chose a transition that this frame will open with from the drop down list of transitions
12.  Type in the length of time you want this frame to be shown in the time box.. The default time is 4 seconds.

To add more frames repeat steps 6 - 12.


USING PICTURE PARADE

CLICKING THE RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON OVER ANYTHING ON THE SCREEN GIVES YOU A DESCRIPTION OF WHAT THAT DOES !


To delete a frame - Click on the frame you want to delete.  Then click the delete button.

To add a frame -  Click on the frame before the place where you want to add a frame.  Click on the add button.  A new frame will be added after the selected frame

To change the file of a frame -  Double click on the frame you want to change

Password - Clicking the password button shows you a screen that allows you to enable, disable or change the current password.  If the current password is enabled you will be prompted to enter the current password before being allowed to change or disable it.

Paint Program - Picture Parade will run your favorite paint program for you.  First you must show Picture Parade where your paint program is.  To do this click the "...." button.  Once you have done this clicking the paint program button will run your paint program.
